1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using My PayM8 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

My PayM8 is a pay estimation tool designed for workers covered by the SCHADS Award in Australia. The App allows users to enter shift details and receive estimated pay calculations including base rates, penalty rates, overtime, allowances, tax, and superannuation.

3. Important Disclaimer

The App provides estimates only. Pay calculations are based on publicly available SCHADS Award rate tables and ATO tax schedules, but may not account for all enterprise agreements, individual contracts, or specific employer arrangements. Always verify your pay with your employer or the Fair Work Ombudsman. My PayM8 is not a substitute for professional financial or legal advice.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

  • The App offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription.
  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
  • Refunds are handled by the respective app store according to their policies.
  • Prices may change with reasonable notice provided through the App.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Use the App to provide commercial payroll services to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by My PayM8 and are protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, My PayM8 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to inaccurate pay calculations, lost wages claims, or financial decisions made based on the App's output.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
